Well, I am back!! Our computer has been messed up for awhile!! I couldn't do anything on blogger. Now Cody fixed it and we are very happy:) The kids were waiting for daddy to get home Sat. so we could put together this gingerbread house. He was hunting of course:) This is the first year that it turned out so well. We had tried once when they were younger, probably why! Ha!

Hailey is showing daddy something on the directions:) She's like me you HAVE to read the instructions. Daddy not so much.

That evening was our Lengacher Christmas dinner. I have taken pictures of them in from of our tree the past few years on this evening. This time we were running late and Hailey's hair was a little wet yet. But oh well.

They have changed so much! Wendsday night Hailey had a christmas program at school. She was a Hip Hop Reindeer. The part she wanted! OH my it was hillarious and cute.

My little girl loves to dance and sing but had no idea she was such a rapper:)

Not sure which song this was but you can see they had a blast. Mrs. Hawkins does a wonderful job every year.

Now I need to get to cleaning! UGH! I do not LIKE that job AT ALL!

We have had a very looonggg week. Poor Miss Hailey has been sick with fever and ulcers in her throat and sores on her lip:( Started Sun. and stayed home everyday this week so far. I am planning to take her a lunch time today. Has to be fever free for 24 hrs. to go back to school. Great policy:) Mya and I were both sad we had to miss play group, they had lot's of fun things going on.

My nephew sweet Aaron celebrated his 1st B-day October 10th. Phil is still in Goshen so they have put off the celebration until he can celebrate with us. He is improving, Praise the Lord. Hopefully he will stay on track and be home in plenty of time for the next little one. Due in middle of Jan. Here is a pic of Aaron on his 1st b-day with pappaw Raber.

We carved our pumpkins on a Sunday afternoon last week. It was gorgeous out again. My silly girls had pumpkin hats:)

Sunday afternoon we headed to Lark Ranch. We love to go each year and it was a beautiful day to go. It was relaxing and the drive there with all the leaves changing colors was pretty.

What a wonderful week I have had just being with my family:) I am so blessed and I am remembering to count them blessings every day. John's brother Phil, is still in Goshen it is going on 4 weeks Tuesday. It's hard for him there he says he is soooo lonely. John, His parents, Malinda (Phil's wife) and Aaron (his baby), and I went to visit him yesterday. He was glad to see us again but he is really struggling. Please pray for him and his little family. He said it is so hard to keep having faith when it is such a slow process. The place he is at, Rest Haven, is such a wonderful place. We know he is very well taken care of. It's reminds you of home. a home away from home. Aaron will have his 1st b-day 2 weeks from today. Malinda plans on taking Aaron up there to celebrate it. Praying that Phil will be on a better way so he can fully enjoy this special day.

On Saturday Jayce and John went hunting:) UGH! I love that they can do this together and they both LOVE it so much. But I do miss John during this time. No luck:( The girls, mom and I went to Evansville and did a little shopping. Found a few things for Miss Hailey, she needs fall,winter clothes. She is soooo PICKY!!! She will not wear denim jeans, too uncomfortable and scratchy! UGH!! Jeggins are too tight!! But we found a pair that she thought was comfortable:) Finally! Hopefully this will change soon. Today Mya is not feeling well again, she has a cold. poor girl she's had a rough month. Hopefully I can get some laundry done and pick up this messy house. Oh well like I said I am just living each day with my family to the fullest:)

Turkey Trot 2011

Turkey Trot is over for another year. I actually enjoy it alot:) We camp all weekend and the kids have so much fun. All three of them raced turkey's this year. Jayce and Hailey made it to the semi finals Sat. night. But not to the finals. Jayce did win 15 dollars:) For a good time. The winner got a 200 dollar savings bond:) Hailey pig wrestled this year. First time for her:) She surprised me BIG TIME. She does not like mud and she dove in and went after that pig. The 4 girls did wonderful. They were named the 4 little pigs. Jayce decided not to do it this year. Anyway it was a nice weekend with my family again. Now poor Mya woke up with a fever this morning:( Poor girl. At least she was healthy for the weekend:)

HELLO, We are still here just was another crazy busy summer. With trying to enjoy every spare minute with my kids and helping out John's family we have had NO spare time. I didn't need to sit on her anyway. Love his family and whatever we can do to help is worth it. We did do LOT'S of things together as a family. We did some camping early summer. Not after Phil got sick. Then we did fun trips to Evansville, Holiday World, and of course the fairs.

John's brother is at Rest Haven in Goshen now. We are hoping he can get well for good there. It sounds like a wonderful place and he did have a very rough time again last week. Now since Sun. night it seems he has made some progress.:) So please keep him and the family in your prayers.

I am loving this fall weather. Feels so good to have the windows open. I need to go dig out my fall decor today. I did just finish digging out Hailey's clothes for Mya, for this winter. She is set! I don't think I need to buy 1 thing.:) Yay!! Hailey didn't grow much either. I may just need to get a new pair of jeans and she should be set. Jayce needed some things.

Spring Program and Life

The kids had their Spring Program at school last week. They both got parts, and were sooo excited:) The night of the program Hailey was dancing and singing around until it was time to go, soo giddy!! The first pic is of the first graders. Hailey is in the purple shirt.

Jayce's part was 1 of the 3 cabelero's! He is in the hat on the right. He did so good remembering and sayin his parts. They ALL did. Mrs. Hawkins did a wonderful job putting the program together. I loved the theme this year.

We have been busy doing landscaping, staining, finishing basement, trying to do all spring work,(mowing, garden,etc.) along with baseball and softball, and gymnastics. YIKES!!! We have been crazy busy. But loving it:) Jayce had his first practice game at French Lick Tues. night. I couldn't go because Hailey was not feeling well. He got to pitch!!! I was excited for him:) He is just in 3rd grade so I'm sure it won't be much this year but hey he got to so YEAH!!!

We have baby kittens now! Puppies now kittens!! They are a diff. color than I ever see. LIGHT Gray and one looks like a skunk. Mya is having a blast with them though. Mya took this pic. actually. Good for a 3 year old:)

Spring 2011

Spring is here! . Yikes there have been LOTS of rainy days. We are thankful for at least the sun on sunny days:) Sat. was beautiful and actually pretty warm . We went to an easter egg hunt that was rescheduled because the the rain the week before. Mya and I did I guess, Hailey had softball practice. Jayce was fishing and spending a day with daddy. PLEASE I was hopeing and praying for a child that was more bold and not so shy. Well we thought we had that with Mya she has been such a loud outspoken child until recently. I've noticed her pulling back and starting to act just like the other two:( I just would like to have 1 child that does not let others walk all over them. Here is a pic of Mya witht he Bunny. That is as close as I could get her. That is her cousin Aaron that the bunny is holding and his cousing Sarah beside them.

As you can see she was very hesitant about picking up eggs. She finally got into it at the end.Ha!

Hailey had her first softball game of the year last night. She really enjoyed it. Happy she is having fun with it this year:)

I am so proud of the man my 10 year old is growing into. Anyone that know's me very well knows that I struggle with my kids growing up. I LOVE them to pieces and want them to grow but yet I don't want them to grow up. He is changing so much, so quiet and just so sweet. He has been begging me for a phone for awhile. Some other's in his class have one and we told him it is just not something he needs at this age. He can use our phones and when he needs one he will have one. He has been sad about it, trying not to complain to much but his little heart has been broke. So yest. I set him up a facebook acct. I will watch him when he is on it, which thankfully he doesn't mind. So innocent. Some of his friends have one so now he is all happy. Last night when going to bed he said"mommy thank you for doing that for me:)" Melt my heart I love him so much!

The kids had off Good Friday so we dyed eggs:) Mya absolutely LOVED it! My older two enjoy it also. They just take FOREVER doing it now. They did not want it to end. LOL! It was nice having them home and just enjoying the day together.

Spring Break 2011!

I just realized I never posted about our Spring Break this year! We had lot's of fun just enjoying each other. We went to Indianapolis Children's Museum for a day and then spent the evening at a motel there! Lot's of fun! Even mall time the next day before heading home. Can't remeber exactly everything else we did over the kids break but it was mostly just family fun time. I was not ready for the kids to go back either. I can't wait for summer break:)

I have gotten so far behind I just keep putting off posts. Spring is here and we are loving the warm weather days:) Baseball practices have started for Jayce and softball should be anyday for Hailey!! Which I LOVE, LOVE! Yesterday Mya and I met some friends at the park and Montgomery and we had a nice time. She never wants to leave. I FINALLY did it I clipped the paci last night:( Let me tell ya it was HARD!! It broke my heart and especially since she is supposidly our last. She cried and I just wanted to go buy another, so did her big bro and sis! They thought it was AWFUL also. Poor kids. But today she is doing very well so far. Only asked for it this morning and hasn't since. YAY!! Now if we can get that potty training down pat!! She did pretty well yesterday now today again is bad! What a strong willed stinker.

Chelsa and I went to Evansville with our 5 munchkins about 3 or 4 weeks ago and I thought it went pretty well. I had my kids pic's taken at JCPenny.

While daddy and Jayce went fishing in Kentucky one weekend, the girls, my mom and I went SHOPPING!! FUN! Hailey was never to Club Tabby so we tried it out and now she wants to take some friends. Hopefully we can arrange that this summer sometime. It turned out really cute I thought. Mya was not sure about sissy having pink and purple hair:)

We are finishing our basement and we are ALMOST finished painting. Mya's room needs the border paint on top and another coat of purple on bottom but the rest is done!!! I was very excited about doing a girly room for the girls!! I have always wanted to do this. And for financial reasons we did neutral rooms upstairs so it could be for both as we had more children!! Which was fine but now I am going all out on the rooms:)

I LOVE Hailey's, she did a wonderful job of picking out colors and her room is just bright and more tween girl!! Some Hannah Montanna posters of course. She is now starting to like Taylor Swift too.

2 weekends ago my sweet hubby took me out for my Birthday. He didn't tell me where we were going so it was a surprise and I really enjoyed the much needed evening alone together. It had been way to long. Since like November I think!! Here is a pic of our view. We went to Louisville Buckhead mountain Grill and sat out on the deck to eat. It was the perfect weather not hot and not cold at all. Cloudy and just relaxing:) It was right over the ohio river.

Hopefully I will not wait so long to post again.

Miss Mya had a party 2 Fri. ago. It has been crazy busy around here!! Finishing our basement, running everywhere and so I just have NOT had time to post about our little angel:) It was simple just family and then we did invite the twins that are neighbors with my parents. Happy Birthday Mya Faith

My baby had a birthday Wendsday:) Mya Faith turned the big 3!! This age always seems like they leave all baby stages behind to me. So grown up. I LOVE this little angel that God blessed us with. She is so sweet natured, LOVES to kiss and cuddle, but oh so strong willed. She is not mean by all means and usually listens and understands what is wrong or right most of the time. She is just strong minded. Which can be good I suppose:) Right now she really enjoys playing with " ME"S FRIENDS" as she says. Playdates is what she really looks forward to each week. She still only weighs 27 pounds!!! Let me tell ya this girl knows how to stress a lady out. She WILL NOT EAT! She likes milk and apple juice but food is not her thing right now:( I tried to post on her birthday but this crazy thing wouldn't let me upload pics.

Now this girl is a momma's girl but big bubby is like a second mommy to her. She will go to him if something is wrong or she needs anything. And TRUST ME he WILL take care of her. He is SUCH a GREAT big brother. He adores her and let's her have anything she wants:)

Now sissy is someone whom she is really starting to adore now also. They did seem to clash a little when she was younger. But now she is wanting to be JUST like her big sis:)

We didn't have Mya's party until Fri. night.(Pic's to come on that soon) But on Wendsday (her b-day) Mya and I made cupcakes and yes she did everything she could. Even if it was SOOO hard for me to watch. I'm not very good with messy stuff:( But she had fun and I even let her dip the batter into the cupcake papers:)

Mammaw Gizzy brought Miss Mya some lunch that day and a gift. She really enjoyed that also:)

Once you get behind in blogging it's hard to start back up. Didn't know where to start so I will just post pics of a FEW things that happened in the month of Feb. We were quite busy but I can't even remember everything we did:) First of all Jan. was a lucky month for me on winning things!!! I won a few things for Mya.

This tutu and hairbow are from Bella J Bowtique. I won more hairbows also:) They are all so cute, I love them:)

Today my firstborn turns 10!!!:(:(:( Yes I am taking his birthday this year very hard! He is now double digits and he is growing too fast! How do people let their babies go?!! He is such a sweet boy. So caring and kind and very tenderhearted. Very hyper and energetic but tender.:) He is definately his daddy's son. A HUNTER and FISHERMAN, just ANYTHING to do with outdoors!! He is such a hard worker. Can help daddy do anything. Likes to help also. He really likes football always has been his major passion. Barr-Reeve doesn't have a football team. I am kinda relieved but yet I feel bad at times because this boy thinks about football ALL the time. He plays, watches, and dreams football.

Like I said he is such a sweetie. Loves his sisters. Well,him and Hailey can get into arguments but they get along wonderfully at times also. Mya and Jayce well, she can never do wrong with him. He will let her have WHATEVER she wants:)

Jayce ABSOLUTELY LOVES B!! Let me tell ya, he thinks a lot of this little cutie. He loves C and Aaron also:)

Jayce played baseball this year and I love to watch my kids. It is so relaxing. He hit I believe 2 homeruns this year. Here he is playing 1st base.

This year Jayce could swim good enough to jump off the diving board and go down the slide by himself without a life jacket!! YAY!!

Today my sweet girl Hailey turned 7!! I cannot believe it and yes I think we all say this every year. It seems unreal! My babies can't be growing so fast:( I have some pics to share this year about Hailey Brooke! She had a little bit of a rough year at the age of 6. Hopefully this year 7 will be LOTS better. She is doing better with the naseau now since the bp med change. Praise God:) Now we are trying to get her to have an appetite:) She has lost 3 pounds in the last month which she does not weigh much anyway. Hopefully her appetite will come back soon. Anxiety is an issue now, which some days I think it's getting a little better:) She is such a joy to have and so loving!

And let me tell ya she is in LOVE with her little sis:) They have become sooo close the last few months!! It melts my heart to see this. I never had a sis growing up:(

Our Life!

We are in full planning mode for birthday parties right now. Hailey has one Feb. 10th, Jayce Feb. 20th and Mya March 16th. So it seems as though they all come at once. Everything is done and overwith at one time:( Lots of fun all at once I guess:) This weekend my two oldest caught the bug going around:( Hailey started with fever Sat. and Jayce Sun. They were both still running it last night. Thankfully today has been fever FREE!!!! Yeah!! Mya Faith stay strong baby girl:) The last snow we had, Mya talked daddy into taking her out while the other two were in school and making a snowman!! She has talked and talked about this every since. We need to do more things with just her. It's hard when there is 3. But we can tell it means so much to her when we do.

Jayce went to a friends Thurs. night after school for a b-day party. Daddy was working on finishing our basement. So the girls and I decided to go eat Chinese food. YUM!

LOOKS SO HAPPY! Which means a lot. She has had it rough lately. Anxiety has become an issue now. Because of all the sickness I guess. Please pray for my sweetheart.

Friday night I decided out of the blue we should go roller skating. Not really sure why I never thought of taking the kids before?! But I wish I would have. My goodness my kids ALL 3 LOVED, LOVED it! That is an understatement. The next morning they begged to go back starting when they woke up until sat. night. So finally we decided to go back Sat. night and take Mammaw and Pappaw Raber and Phil (John's brother) and Malinda and Aaron. They enjoyed it just as much. Hailey could go the entire time without using the wall. Jayce got to where he did not have to use it hardly at all. Mya did not want to stop. I can't imagine a 2 year old would like it so much:)

Poor guy did lots of falling and he has a NASTY bruise on his knee to prove it. I wish I would have taken a picture it is HUGE!

Growing up!!

I have an emotional post today. I am struggling lately with my kids growing so fast!! Jayce and Hailey both have a birthday coming up in Feb. Jayce will be 10!! UGH! And Hailey will be 7! I can't believe it. I want to just freeze time and keep my babies with me forever. Jayce will be double digits:( My baby will be 3 in march! I think this is what is setting it off, she is supposedly (unless God chooses otherwise) our last. It's hard to see the last one leave behind all the baby things. I know, I would be worried if they didn't grow. I just pray that I can somehow have acceptance and peace about all my kiddos growing up so fast. There will be wonderful chapters at ALL ages I am sure.

Florida Vacation

Well I guess we have had a family tradition the last 4 years now! We have went to Florida over Christmas break, I would rather go over Spring Break, but the kids have a longer break over Christmas! So we go when we can! I LOVE it there. We stay with my grandmother, who is wonderful at taking care of us:) My dad's brother and sisters live there so we get to see lot's of family there too. On Christmas day we go to a local church and we eat lunch and then go into pinecraft and watch the parade then go back to the church and play games and eat supper!! Such a wonderful time to catch up with everyone. This year was a little cooler then others, but we still enjoyed it. We could wear a ligt jacket and play outside! That breaks up the winter here at home. We drove straight through on the way there, through the night. Which went wonderful. Except for poor Hailey vomitting from the Florida line until we reached pine craft! Hey, at least it was only that far. On the way home we decided to stop and sleep. Our kids LOVE to stay at a motel. I was sooo lucky it ended up right across the road from our motel was an AWESOME outlet mall!! It had every store I think!! Best I have ever been to!

We had a wonderful vacation and of course the kids and I were not ready to come home and get back in the grove:( I LOVE Florida and wish I could move there:) HE! HE! But I would miss my family and friends here. We made some wonderful memories with our children. Hailey was very naseaus the whole time but she still had fun. We now have that under control I believe. So far. We switched from Linsinopril to Cozar. PTL!! She seems to be improving greatly:)

Christmas

I am behind in blogging since we took a vacation to Florida over the kids Christmas break. We did our Christmas get togethers with our families before we left. First we went to John's parents house. I do not have any pictures from there. But we had fun and it was little Aaron's first Christmas!! Even though he had nooo idea what was going on. He was just 2 months old.
The kids ended up having a longer Christmas break because of the snow days, here we are one day baking Christmas cookies!!

The Sunday before we left we decided to let the kids open their gifts from John and I. They loved their MP3 Touches!! Pillow Pets were awsome gifts they have slept on them every since.

On Monday evening we went to my Parents to have our get together. The kids had lots of fun with B again.

We are still in Florida. I am Having a wonderful time with my family! Mya was sick yesterday all day:( Started with fever Tues. night and ran fever till this morning. Got to 103 so she was a very sick little girl. Hope no one else gets it before or while heading home. Otherwise we have just been hanging out and enjoying each other. I will post pictures when we get home.

Today is my sweet hubby's Birthday:) Such a wonderful husband and great daddy! Love the way he takes care of all of us. Hope everyone has a safe and happy new year!!

Christmas Festivities

We are all home today because of the snow! It is beautiful and wonderful to be home with my family and enjoy a day of just being together. We are blessed. My kids were "screaming" when we got the message that school was cancelled. Even though Mya didn't understand why she was squealing right along!! What a busy week we had last week and it will continue until Christmas,
just like everyone else. Hailey had a program at the Odon park for Christmas last Wed. night. She is in the Bethel children's choir this year and she is LOVIN it! That child loves to sing, dance, gymnastics and cheering. She's my girly girl!! It is a wonderful experience for her and Joy is a wonderful leader. Teaching them to not be afraid to lift up their hands and voices and sing praises to God!! They all did such a good job. I wish Jayce would try it.

Sunday night was our Churches Christmas program. It turned out beautiful also. Thanks to Joy again!! It had to do with the meaning of the Christmas Tree. My kids LOVE that book The Three Trees I think it's called? It is a good book. Both Jayce and Hailey were excited to have speaking parts this year and much to my surprise they both did a good job. I was afraid Hailey would back out last minute but she went up there and spoke louder than Jayce even did. Not looking nervous at all. All the kids did a wonderful job with all their parts! Tried to take pics before they went again. of course I can NEVER get a really good pic of these three stinkers together.

I cannot find the pics on my computer of our celebration night right now. We did have lot's of fun. Gatti's to eat and then some bowling! After that night we've had quite the ride of confusion with poor Hailey again. It's not been terrible just not good not knowing what's going on for sure. We took her to her regular doc last Fri. And they did a urine sample and bloodwork for many diff. things. Like anemia and lot's of things that could be making her sooo tired all the time and just not feeling well. She's been doing this for at least 3-4 weeks. Then joints had started hurting more and some other issues I will not share. Poor girl! The test all came back normal which is good, yet frusterating. Because most likely it's the HSP trying to come back or is back? Guessing game. Until it's here full force there is no way to know. Since she is not feeling well she is not wanting to go to school. Which causes crying and then vomitting in the vehicle and at school. I just feel so bad leaving her like that. I know they take wonderful care of her, but I am the mother and I am just leaving her when she says MOMMY PLEASE NO, hanging on to you. It just feels like I am abbandoning her. She is fine usually after the morning gets started. I think for me the breaking down, remembering her face and hugs , continue all day. ANYWAY we are praying that she starts feeling back to normal soon.:)

Yes I have another post without pictures!! Hopefully after tonight I will have plenty more. We are CELEBRATING tonight. The kids are so excited to go eat and bowling. They have wanted to for a long time and we just keep putting the bowling off. Well since they both got wonderful report cards Wendsday I decided we are going to go and celebrate. Jayce has worked hard on getting those A's and B's! Even though between you and me he could do lot's better:) He just rushes andwants to finish. Does not really care what grade he gets. Ha! All boy! His teacher says this also, she knows he knows it he just is always in a hurry. Well hopefully we will get through this year without giving this mamma too many nervous breakdowns. :) Hailey, well I tend to let her go too much. She just doesn't need to study and she does WONDERFUL. Straight A's again. I am proud of them and I do want to take them out and reward them for all their hard work. I am mostly thankful for them wanting to go to school this year. They are both getting along so well and have lots of friends. Staying fairly healthy too. Thank Goodness! Hopefully all this continues throughout the year. Mya Faith is now a homebody. Ugh! Let me tell ya I like it except for when I NEED to go get groceries and you know do regular errands. She is a stinker and just keeps complaning, (me go home). She loves when it is time to get Jayce and sissy off the bus. She will not say Hailey's name just sissy:) Love it though. STILL working on that potty training. One of these days I know I will be able to say she is trained! Hopefully before her third birthday!! PLEASE:)

Praise Report!

I am doing terrible about keeping my blog up. I do not have pictures this time. I have been slacking lately on taking them. That's a bad job mom! But I do have a praise post. I don't think I have posted about Hailey's eye. This summer while her BP was sky high and she had been on predisolone for awhile, she one day was crying and having a fit that she couldn't see. I of course was very nervous also. Well this went on for a few days and we did schedule with an eye specialist right away. They checked everything out and said she has very poor vision, but could not see any damage or any indication of what was causing it. Maybe it's just the high bp and all the medications messing with them. So we waited. Eventually she quit complaining, guess she just got used to it. After she was off her predisolone for a few weeks she still could not see anything but big blurs or if reading a straight black line with her left eye. So we would check daily. No change, let me tell ya I was trying to not be anxious. Things could be worse but I knew she had always had 20/20 vision. So yes I was afraid this disease had also messed with her eyes. We prayed about this and we had wonderful friends praying for her. We went to her specialist last Tues. and God provided a miracle for my sweet little girl. Her eye sight was almost back to normal!! just 2 days earlier she still could not read with that eye. God is building my baby's faith at such an early age. Jayce and her have been shown God's miraculous power already:) Otherwise she is doing Wonderful! She is feeling good, only very tired. We go back in December for a check up and more tests. Hopefully by then her kidney's will be clear and maybe she can at least lower her BP meds.

We have had a WoNdErFuL fall so far this year. It is my favorite time of year and all the festivities are a blast! We seem to Always have some kind of illness, seriously I have taken one child to the doctor at least every other week or every week since early summer. You know it's bad when Doc Sorrells laughs when he sees me and says Lady you are going to have to write a book after the year you've had:) It has been so many diff. illnesses that we have never had. But we are blessed and things could be sooo much worse. The Lord has healed each time. Hailey is still healing, she is getting there.:) Praise God! Earlier we raked lots of leaves together and of course had to JUMP, JUMP, JUMP!!

John and Jayce have been hunting every Sat. morning and evening. Jayce always has exciting stories but the deer just don't want to cooporate. Either do not come quite close enough or they run of when he tries to stand up:) But he LOVES every minute of it. You know when a 9 year old can sit in a tree for 4 hours in the morning and 4 more hours in the evening you have a DEDICATED hunter. He's his daddy made over:) Love them!

Sunday morning while getting ready for church we got the phone call. John's brother and his wife were headed to the hospital to have the baby!! Poor girl she started at 1:00 Sun. morn. and they finally had c-section at 10:22 Sun. night. She just wasn't progressing and the baby was starting to show signs of stress. But Aaron Levi was born on 10-10-10! A whopping 8 lb. and 14 oz. 21 inches long. My kids are very excited to have another cousin.

Hailey Brooke has been doing wonderful since she started school. Praise God!! She has felt great and has not picked up that much sickness!! Colds over and over but nothing major. The last test we finally go the results last week. She still has blood in her urine but her protein is now .21 last time it was .22 so that is a improvement. I never realized how slow the process is with kidneys. So she is still on 15 mg. of Lisinopril everyday. At least she is off the steroids finally and hopefully her immune system is building up.:) No signs of her HSP reacuuring lately. YEAH!! God is truely wonderful.

Daddy's Home....

Yes daddy made it home last Sunday a week ago!! We were ever so happy:) He arrived about 9:30, so of course we all waited up for him... He had tears in his eyes while hugging his sweet kiddos. It was the sweetest thing, they sure missed him, poor Hailey cried every night. Hopefully now that he got a BIG elk he will not go for a LONG time... I'm glad he could experience this though. Last week we just squeezed in as much family time as possible. Saturday morning Jayce and John went hunting of course. Jayce LOVES it so much. He was full of stories when he came home. Saw 2 button bucks and 4 doe I think... Hailey was upset she wanted to go too. So of course Sat. afternoon John Jayce and Hailey went. Then Mya was upset... My goodness for a two year old she sure likes hunting and fishing already. She says "me hop (help) daddy soot buck"!! So adorable.

Good News and Bad News

John left Saturday Morning for a 10 day elk hunt in Colorado! Yes it has been some LONG days, but I have to remember at least he will come back. And my hubby sure does LOVE to hunt so I'm glad he gets to have this experience. He does not have service in the mountains where they are camped at, but he did call early Tues. because they had climbed high enough to get some service. cutting out but at least he could say he's fine. Well after that we got the call Tues. evening that John's Grandfather was poor. I had not been able to even tell him this let alone he passed away this morning. But John was headed to town and called me just this afternoon so very very excited. He got an elk!!! A 6x6 Bull:) I had to then tell the poor guy the news. His grandfather was a very sweet man. He has been having some health issues for a number of years so I am glad that he is heaven and pain free.

2 weeks ago John and the kids and I headed to Evansville after John got off work. Went to the mall for about 1 1/2 hours then to Gatti Town!! Kids favorite:) Mya had lots of fun in the new bouncy house.

She is only 2 but I knew she would do it and she LOVED LOVED it. My other two there is NO WAY they would have at 2.

10 Years!!

I can not believe this is our 10 year anniversary!! Seems like I've known John forever, yet it seems we just got married:) Make sense?! I love this man he is a wonderful husband and father. Here are a few wedding pictures from that special day. It was at my parents house the home I grew up in. Outdoors. I loved it!!

She does still LOVE to help mommy though. Today she had to help do all the cleaning and no she will not keep her clothes on anymore either.

Yesterday Hailey had another appt. at Riley. Afterwards we took the girls to ride the people mover! (Train) Mya loves dinasour train and she loved this ride too! But it broke down while we were on it and so it took a lot longer than we thought! Kinda scary when your stuck inside up so high.

The doctor called tonight and Hailey's urine test FINALLY looks a lot better!! PTL! The protein came down quite a bit. Hopefully it will keep coming down:) John and I are so happy to have such a wonderful Anniversary gift:) I love my family!!

First day of School!!

My babies made it on the bus this morning!! It was so hard to let go again, but I know God will give me the strength to push on:) I did cry for awhile last night after they went to bed. i think it was bad again this year since she has been so sick and I worry too much I guess!! They have been very excited though. Could not get them to fall asleep last night. Praying they have a WONDERFUL first day:)

My 3rd grader and 1st grader!! Of course NO pretty hairbows for her, she is all girl very changeable, one day all prissed out and the next absolutely not!! Ha!!

We went camping a couple weekends ago for just 1 night, but it was a wonderful night, not hot!! The kids had lots of fun!! Mya can pedal bike herself now:0

I am getting really bad about updating! We have had lots of fun these last few weeks, trying to do as much as we can before school:) Last Sunday we went to Holiday World and it was a beautiful day, weather was perfect and not extremly busy. John, Jayce and Hailey rode ALL the big rides. Hailey's first year to be able to and she LOVED it!! Yes doc gave permission which she noticed the signs on each ride, (are you sure mom it says I can't). I only rode the raven, will NOT ride the other two, and I did ride the wildabeast and pilgrims plunge(YIKES) so not like me, but the kids wanted me to so I did it JUST for them:) Mya had fun with all the kiddy rides also.
I know I always end the post with updating on Hailey, maybe everyone is tired of hearing it. But I would like to ask for more prayers, she has been really struggling this week. BP dropping REALLY low making her almost pass out and sick, trying to adjust it where she still can have a normal bp but needs as much Lisinopril as she can possibly handle to get protien in urine down:( This morning we had to leave church because she got sick again. I am really getting anxious about school starting in 3 days!! How am I going to send my girl to school when she keeps getting sick and bp not right! Please pray that this anxiety will subside and she will be doing well enough to start school on time. Thank You so much,

This is mostly a picture update! LOTS and LOTS:) We have been busy. And they are backwards.
We went to the Loogootee pool sunday eve. with the Lengacher family, it was fun. Jayce went of the diving board for the first time and LOVED it, he went off over and over! Plus they both went of the slide. I didn't take much time to take pics and I missed poor little mya!

Jayce had an all-star tourney 2 weekends ago which was VERY VERY warm. But we had fun.

3 weekends ago we went to Big Splash in French Lick, my kids absolutely love to go there. Haily cried when we had to leave. Which that was pretty much the first fun thing we did this summer since she was sick and she usually does not act like that.

4 weekends ago we put away corn. LOTS of corn, yummy. I love freezing corn each year though, we can get together and do it with family.

We went back to Riley for Hailey's check-up again Tues. and since the HSP seems to be not quite as active, we are trying to reduce the predisolone some. Hopefully it will work. Last night finally at 8 the doc called with blood and urine test results. Not such great news. Her levels are pretty much the same as 2 weeks ago, which since the hsp was really active he knew the levels were high but was hoping it was because of the very active hsp. Now she has not had rash or seemed to be having any joint pain this time. he says that is extremly high and needs to be gotten down as soon as possible, will cause kidney damage. So he is completely doubling the Lisinopril (blood pressure med). Which they had told us was the most they wanted to give her:( To get the protein down in her urine. I was down a little last night and at times this morn. I start to but like a friend told me God is setting himself up to be glorified. we just need to hang on for the ride. Faithful Prayer

Well I wrote this blog out on Sunday night and had not posted it yet. When I went to look at blogs this morning The verse of the day stood out to me! It is the same verse i had in my post. I feel that God was nudging me along to post this:)

I have not blogged in awhile about Hailey, she feels good and rarely has pain if she does it's nothing like before. The steroids are suppose to be helping with that, and her blood pressure is under control with the medication. We went back to Riley Tues. of this week and They did more blood work and Urine test and it was a little worse in both. So her kidney's are still getting it hard. I am relieved that she feels so good though. Since the test came worse again we decided to anoint Hailey.
James 5:14-15 says Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up;

The preachers of our church came to our home last evening. We did it in our home to make Hailey more comfortable, it could be confusing and scary for a little girl to stand in front of many people on a Sunday. She did so well and she understood why and what we were doing. Praise God, we feel so at peace, God is in control and we will do whatever he has in store for her and us as a family. He is there and will get us through. I can't believe how I, myself have changed through all this, I feel so calm and sure, God is here with us and he will take care of my baby no matter what. I struggled with anxiety with this virus at the beginning and now I feel so calm. Thank you Kevin, Amanda, Carmen and Joanna for coming to our home and praying with us and anointing our sweet Hailey.

What a wonderful weekend it has been, spending time with family:) We were all together and HOME that made it perfect. God is so good he is taking care of my baby girl and I know that, even though it is hard to see her go through all this, this summer. We just came home from doing more bloodwork in bedford today and let me tell ya I have a trooper. She even smiled during the procedure. What a sweetie. We will not get the results back until Thurs. or Fri. The urine test still showed a large level of blood and high in protein.:( Which is not good for her kidney's. They are hoping it lets up on her kidney's soon or we will be doing another biopsy to check for kidney damage. Her BP is STILL acting up also. She is on the max dose of Lisinopril so now they are adding a water pill to try and help some. I have been watching her salt intake very carefully and she is hardly getting any. We are praying that this virus lets up soon.
On other news:) We had a good weekend. Went to my parents to watch fireworks Fri. night. Sat. night we went to washington and watched those. Kids loved it. We have to take it easy which is hard since it's summer but we try to do little things for them. This is the first year since Jayce was born that we could not go to a fair. But we took and blanket and had a picnic and just relaxed. They enjoyed it anyway. She got wore out right away again. She had even had a 2 hr. nap that day.

Sunday we had lunch at mom and dad's and then after we napped we went to see toy story 3. It was really good.

Our dog had puppies. And they are very very cute.!! Kids are loving it, especially miss Mya!
We have 2 so if you need a puppy let us know. It will be hard to get rid of them but we do not need 3 dogs around here.

God is a Miracle Worker!!

Praise be to God! We have WONDERFUL news, Hailey's biopsy showed no signs of scarring. The Doc was shocked. He was so very sure there would be kidney damage with all the signs and urine and culture and blood tests. And because of her high blood pressure. We knew he was only giving us a 10% chance of hope. But we knew God could work a miracle if he chose to. And he chose to give Hailey a miracle. We are so happy and I want to share it with everyone. Hoping this will all be used in some way for God.
Hailey is feeling well, her blood pressure is still a little too high, may have to increase the bp meds a little, her vision is pretty blurry because of the steroids. But she is such a strong little girl. Feeling well and taken everything in strie. hopefully we can make it to watch fireworks this weekend.

Home Sweet Home

We are HOME!! And it feels wonderful:) God is so good! It is absolutely Gorgeous out today! Hailey and Mya are taking a nap. The kidney biopsy went well, we will not find the results out for 3 to 5 days. So for now we are just giving her meds to control the HSP symptems. After we find out the results of the biopsy we will know more what kind of plan to follow. Her BP was up when we left again yest. so they uped her BP medicine again. now she takes 7.5mg per day. She is still on steroids which makes her HYPER and swollen and HUNGRY! She is suppose to take it very easy for a whole week because of her biopsy and please tell me how to keep a 6 year old on predislone down for that long?!! I have a few pics.

My parents brought the kids and John's parents to visit on Sat. and Sun morn. It was so good to see my babies. I have missed the others soooo much!They all had to sit or lay in hailey's bed.
Oh and funny story they were laying here like this and the nurse came in to take Hailey's vitals, and she said oh my how will I know which is the patient and let me tell ya Jayce jumped out of the bed soooo fast it was hillarious. Pointing at her the whole time. Little stinker, I'm not sure how either of my other two would handle and experience like this. Nothing like Hailey I am sure.

Before we went to Riley Hospital Jessica's girls came over for a little visit and a tea party. Hailey was so excited and it did her a lot of good. Here she was all dressed up waiting for them to come. And yes she was very swollen in this pic. But beautiful!

She has been such a trooper through all of this and so calm, most of the time. God has a plan for her and us and we are just waiting to see what it is. We do know that she LOVED all the nurses and they LOVED her. She wants to be a nurse someday!! Maybe God showed her through this.

Jayce's team lost the first game of the playoff's, and I am so sad I could not see it. He loved playing baseball this year. I am very proud of him for playing as hard as he did.

Hailey's kidney biopsy is set for today at 1:30. we are waiting and she says she is STARVING! But in pretty good humor most of the time. Had a couple break downs. Her BP has been high yet today again. They have had to give instant bp meds 2wice already in just 3 hours. I'm not sure whats going on they had uped the regular bp meds.

Otherwise Jayce has his playoff baseball game tonight and I am very sad that I have to miss it. Hoping he does well even with everything going on. He does well most of the time, you can see it gets to him sometimes. Like I said Him and Mya are well taken care of.

John and Hailey are taking a nap right now. So I decided to go to the library for a little bit. Hailey had a LONG afternoon and night. We went to bedford yest. morning and sent home to pack our things and head to Riley. Only had 40 min. to pack. Started off again. We arrived at Riley about 3:30 had to go through ER. We were in there until 1:30 in the morning, because there was NO beds left upstairs. We do have a room now it is a shared room. Thankfully she is feeling some better this morn. Last night she had hard stomach cramps again. They gave her morphine and tylenole to try and help she finally went to sleep about 2 then slept the rest of the night. The doc has not been in yet to read lab work and ultrasound. He did start her on BP meds. now hoping to keep it down. I am Praying the belly pains stay away. I miss my two other sweethearts, but I know they are being well taken care of.

We went to doc this morning and took bloodwork he talked with the nurfologist?? Spelling?? and we had scheduled an appt. with Riley because of her kidney's for Tues. Well while there she started having bloody stools!! So now we are to go right away. She is so upset. So we will are heading that way hoping her kidney's will be ok. God is with us I can feel his presence. I have more peace than I had to start with. Praise God!!

Hailey has done soooo good the last 2 1/2 days. Getting stronger and stronger. Today about 2 I saw she looked like she didn't feel well, and guess what she didn't again. Her BP was 146/101 and had a headache! She then slept for 1 1/2 hours. Felt a little better when she got up but BP was still up.:( Anyway Doc made appt. for more blood work in morning to check out kidney functions again. She is swollen in her face and pretty much everywhere. Sign of kidney problems too. Hopefully it's not worse than it was. Now her stomach cramps are back tonight. My poor sweetheart. Hoping they let up and let her rest tonight.
I havn't updated since this all happened and the night we took Hailey to the hospital Jayce had a game. I took him and he hit his first homerun!!! Then he got and in the park homerun then in the same game another over the fence:) I was so excited for him. He was very happy! Little stinker. His last season game is tommorow night, then it's the playoff's next week. I love watching him play, I don't want it to be over.

I thought I should update and let everyone know what is going on with our Hailey Brooke. She is doing good. She has her ups and downs which the doc told us would happen. She has Henoch-Schonlein purpura or HSP. It all started a couple weeks ago when she had major leg cramps in the middle of the night. She cried for 40 min. then she could hardly walk the next day. We had to carry her most of the time. This lasted for a week. We went to the doc 4 times doing blood work and trying to figure out what was wrong. Well Wends. John finally went with us to doc and they couldn't figure anything out yet. On the way home she all at once broke out with red spots and blotches on her legs. After we were home not even an hour she was in pain again arms, legs and this time severe stomach cramps. We waited and tried to comfort her but she started running fever also. So I called doc at home and he said NOW he knows what it is. HSP. He said if the stomach pains and fever did not let up in a couple hours to bring her in. Well they didn't and she started vomiting. So we went to hospital and they kept her. She was in lots of pain which was soooo hard to watch. It is our baby!! It was such a scary experience. God was with us and so many prayers were felt. FINALLY the pain was less and she could rest. Thank You God!! He is wonderful. Now she is doing well she is on Steroids for the inflamation of her joints and stomach cramps. She gets tired real easy and her blood pressure has been spiking some, but normal today again. Which doc said is expected because it is affecting her kidney's. Blood and protien in the urine. This is the main concern for the doc, because their is a risk of long term kidney damage with this virus. Doc told us today again that with this virus you think they are better and then they get worse again back and forth for awhile. But I know God can heal her and we will trust him and try to be a peace with all of this. God has a plan and we will accept whatever comes. Thank you for all your prayers and cards and gifts!! Hailey's softball season ended now. She had 4 games last week. But Jayce's season has just begun. He had his first game last night. They did very good! I was very proud of my little man:) He has really improved since last year. He has 3 games this week.

We are having a multi family yard sale at my parents house in Oakview Heights Sat morning starting at 7:30~ there is 0-4t boy clothes and home decor. I have LOTS and LOTS of stuff:( EEEK!! Girls 0-24 months and boys 0-size 8 boys. Time to sell them I guess. Last year was my first one and I didn't even get out half of Jayce's clothes so now it is time to move it out:) There will be a refrigerator, weed eater, 3 pack n play's 1 high chair, 2baby swings, car seat , and a pool with pump.

Fishing, 1st Lost Tooth

It is a rainy dreary day today. But at least I have a silly, sweet 2 year old to enjoy it with! She makes everything a little more interesting:) Right now she has her hands on her hips telling the kitty and puppy "NO" ! Such a stinker! Last Sunday afternoon John, the kids and I went fishing. Mya's very favorite thing to do right now. "FISH" Anyway I took some pics while we were there it was so very relaxing. We went yesterday too and they were biting much better.

Yesterday the kids and I went to Berea for church. Ryan and Chelsa had baby dedication for sweet Corbin! John went ahead to Bethel because it was his turn to teach sunday school.

Sat. Hailey discovered that she had a loose tooth. Well she was so very happy, she is 6 and hadn's lost a tooth yet! She kinda forgot about it until Sunday at lunch!! Yikes what a drama queen!! We were at a restraunt and she was STARVING, as she says. When her food came she would not eat. Because her tooth was loose and it bothered her. So she said she would not eat until it came out. I thought oh well when she gets hungry enough she will. WRONG!! It was 4:00 and she was so hungry but would not eat. She was sitting in front of the mirror still messing with it. Finally she just yanked it out!! Praise The Lord!! I was getting worried that she would go to bed hungry:) She was one very happy girl!!

1st lost tooth~

Oh yeah, after she got the tooth out she went outside to play and guess what?!! She has a splinter in her foot now!! OHH!!! Why does it happen to her everytime. The others are not near as dramatic about it. So we tried and tried to get it out but it is too deep. Hopefully it will come out tonight! Wonder how she's doing at school?!

It is sooo cold BRRRR...... It's suppose to be summer when your kids have a softball game right?! HA! That's ok, Hailey Brooke had her first softball game this morning! The girls did so well, I was very proud of them all. They have wonderful coacher this year. Hailey LOVES it so far. She did seem a little nervous during the game, but did wonderful. She takes everything so serious:)

Look at the girls down and ready. Poor girl, she is going to have strong legs by the end of the season. The coach said to be ready for the ball, and she does not stand up to stretch! She just stays down and ready the whole time!! YIKES!!

We have bunnies!! Jayce and Hailey each picked one out. Poor Mya!! She has to hold theirs. Anyway we got them about 2 weeks ago. This morning we got home from the game and found Jayce's dead in the pen.:( He was very sad, He dissapeared right away and then here he comes back with a shovel and tears running down his face! He wouldn't talk he took the rabbit and took it the the cross we have stuck in the ground in our yard. (where 2 of our dogs are buried!) And started digging. I asked him if I could help and NO he did it all by himself, it was just so sad. Tears running down his face the whole time. He buried Fluffy and put his name on the cross too!!

It is mother's day weekend and I am so happy that God has given me 3 beautiful children! I love being a mommy, It's so hard to see them all getting so big. I know they will be grown before I know it!! I love you my sweet babies:)

I am very blessed to have a wonderful mother and mother-n-law also. They are very good to us and our children. I love you both!!

Start of Summer!

This is the start of summer! I love, love watching my kids play sports! It is crazy busy but I do enjoy every minute of it:) Spring is really getting to me though. I like the nice, wonderful weather, but the allergies! NO WAY! I have a lot of drainaige and fluid in my ears so that makes me very dizzy! Not good when your taking care of 3 kiddos! I know my sweet little nephew B and his momma have it worse than me, poor things! Hopefully this rain this weekend will help them out:)
Hailey has started softball practice, tonight is her 4th one. She absolutely LOVES it. That's all she talks about, and want to do. I'm happy for her. Jayce is playing baseball this year and last night was his 2nd practice. His first was about 3 1/2 weeks ago. He likes it okay but does not really go on about it much. He is a fisherman and hunter! I have a few pics of Hailey at practice. I didn't find out Jayce had practice till 15 minutes before last night, so no I did not have time to remember the camera. Hopefully next practice I'll get some of him.

Mya is doing so good. She is just so content following me around and doing whatever I am doing. Which is wonderful when trying to get everything done outdoors in this nice weather. She is such a sweetheart!! I have been getting a lot more done than I use to. That means she is growing to fast also:(

Mya's Birtday Party

We finally had a Birthday Party for miss Mya! We had put it off because my parents were in Florida over her B-day. Then it just never worked for someone the next weeks. We did it last weekend and it was beautiful weather. She loved just playing outside with family mostly!

Easter 2010!

It is another BEAUTIFUL day!! I have my windows open and it feels wonderful:) It's back to a regular monday:( Jayce and Hailey went to school today, and they were just fine with it, no complaining. I can't wait for summer break. I love having them all home with me!

We had a very good easter. It was a nice day out and the sunrise service at church was so touching! The youths skit especially touched my heart. We had a yummy breakfast afterwards and then headed to mom's to spend time with our family:) Corbin's first time there!! The kids were sooo happy to see him and Brycen they LOVE LOVE LOVE them both!!! After lunch we came home and Mya and I took a little nap. He He! While daddy went fishing and Jayce and Hailey played baseball with their aunt and uncle and gramma and grampa Raber! Then we spent the rest of the evening at home together:) So nice!! Spring Break 2010!!!

It has been a WoNdErFuL spring break! I'm not ready for the kids to go back to school:( It was such beautiful weather. We had lot's of things to do. Monday we just relaxed around home, played outside and hailey had gymnastics that evening. Tuesday I had to work. Wendsday we went to the park. Thursday Jayce and pappaw went fishing and the girls and I played outside AGAIN!! :) Then we went putt-putting when daddy came home. Today we went to mason's for lunch, eye doctor to pick out Jayce's new glasses and wal-mart. This evening we went to mom's and dyed some eggs. Hopefully tommorow the rain will stay away so the kids can hunt easter eggs at the gastof. Then a wedding tommorow night. Of course Sunrise service Sunday morning. Wow! We are BUSY!!

I have a few pictures I need to update. We stayed at a hotel last weekend during basketball state. We swam and swam and swam some more:)

It is a little crazy to dye eggs with a 2 year old and yes Mya and I have blue legs!! She was reaching to get something and poured a whole cup of dye on her and I! YUCK!! It was quite a disaster. Oh well hopefully it will come off before the wedding tommorow night. Yikes, I think people would look at me funny if I have a blue foot and leg.;) It was a lot of fun though.

Well let's see we have been busy as usual. But I LOVE LOVE this time of the year. Spring is here and we are preparing for all the summer fun:) Hailey has had softball open gym and Jayce has had his first baseball practice this year already! I love watching them play. My Lillies are blooming it's just a wonderful time of year. Hopefully all my kids asthma problems will stay away during the summer. They have had a rough winter with it this time:( But we are blessed, nothing major. We can handle that. Thank you my dear God:) Mya Faith is 2 now! And can say it very well! We had a little celebration of cupcakes with just us on the day of her b-day. We will have a party with the family hopefully soon now. My parents were in Florida. She loved it even though. Everytime someone would sing Happy B-day she'd smile REAL big and say "ME"!

Now let me tell ya we have a TRUE Barr-Reeve fan! Hailey Brooke LOVES to celebrate all these wins. She has to go to the celebrations also:) She is very very excited for Indy this weekend, and yes we are going. It is a nice excuse to stay in a motel for the night too!

She has to have her face painted and daddy does a very good job!

Like lots of others we have been out enjoying this WONDERFUL weather! I can't wait for it to stay warm. We have been fighting colds for the last couple weeks, but it doesn't seem near as bad when the weather is warm and it's sunny out:) I can already tell Mya will be a handfull outside this summer she just wanders off. In this pic from today you can tell she has to take a baby out and take it with her wherever she goes. Even if it is more difficult to do things. In just a couple weeks my older 2 will be on spring break. I can't wait. We will love every minute of staying up late and not worrying about school work:)

Wow, we had a lot going on over the weekend! Friday poor Jayce had to go to school and Hailey got to stay home. Kindergarten Round-up. The girls and I went to Evansville Children's Museum with Jessica and her girls. It was a lot of fun. Hailey has talked about it nonstop since:) We even ate at Chuckee Cheese afterwards. Yum!!! Isabelle and Mya became friends on the way there. They held hands and shared snacks.

We arrived home JUST in time to get Jayce off the bus. Spent some time with the kids, then John and I headed to Ryan and Chelsa's. I couldn't stand it I had to go see them again. The kids went to my parents house, which they love. I got to spend time with my two nephews and Ryan and Chelsa OF COURSE. I love you to guys.

Jayce likes rook and I don't even know how to play that. That was our wonderful weekend! Now it's finally March and I am even more anxious for Spring to get here:)

More Birthday Celebrations

We have been celebrating B-days all month I think. Jayce's B-day was Feb. 20th and he turned 9. He's growing way too fast.:( The kids had quite a few snow days last week so one night we decided to go to Mi Pueblo to eat. We even got to celebrate their b-day's there.

On Friday evening Jayce had some friends over to celebrate. They had fun and even stayed overnight, so they didn't get much sleep.

He wanted a colts theme of course he is a BIG football fan

Mom made the cakes, she did a wonderful job!!

He was such a wonderful host, he wanted to cut his own cake and serve it. He did really good, he cuts a cake better than me!

He even helped pour some of their drinks later. Yes they were very sweaty, they were playing basketball in the garage:)

Sunday night we celebrated with family and Mammaw made another football cake. Not the helmet this time. It went pretty much the same as Hailey's party, we ate opened gifts and played lots of games.

I am so thankful for each of our children that God has given us. I hope that we will raise them in a way that he would want.

Monday Mya and I had fun taking some pic's. She LOVES to dress up now and wanted to wear her tutu that aunt chelsa made. Actually she is wearing Hailey's in the picture she wanted to wear it next. She wants EVERYTHING of Hailey's:)

We have had a VERY BUSY couple of weeks. Between Little C coming to this big world, Valentines parties at school and Birthday parties! WHEW! I'm wore out and still planning for more parties this weekend. We made cupcakes for Jayce's class on Thursday night and he took them Friday. On Wendsday we invited grandparents and aunts and uncles for Hailey's b-day. It was a blast, we played lot's of games.

My New Nephew!!!

As you all know by now I have a new little nephew!!!! I am soooo excited and happy for Ryan and Chelsa and Brycen. When I got to the hospital Tuesday night Brycen was practically draging me to the nursery window to see his baby brother:) He kept saying come on run, run! I was there after he was born, by the time I found out they were going ahead with the c-section I got ready and went as quick as I could:( oh well i got to see mom and baby. Chelsa thought she looked bad but she was absolutely gorgeous and glowing with excitment:) She kept saying i just can't belive he is here. Corbin is soooo cute. Here are just a few pics Chelsa sent to me, I just look at my phone alllll day long. I can't wait to go back and see him up close now.

It's so beautiful out again today. Snow everywhere. I love the way it looks. I just do not like getting out in this COLD weather. I can't wait for spring. But I will enjoy the seasons as they come:) We have not been doing much at all around here lately, just hanging out and trying to get everyone well. Hailey had been sick all weekend. and Jayce and Mya both have infection in their lungs. BOO! So no playing out in the snow for these kiddos.:( We did go to mom and dad's to watch the super bowl. Even though our colts lost, we did enjoy the evening with friends and family. And lot's of YUMMY food!

Saturday night Jayce called his Pappaw and begged him to come stay overnight. So of course pappaw couldn't turn that down. He came and slept in Jayce and Hailey's room. The next morning Mya would not give pappaw up. He was all hers. They rocked and rocked.

Today we are going to clean and get everything ready for Miss Hailey's B-day parties this week. Tommorow she will be the big 6!!

Last couple weeks

My I wait way to long to post. I forget most of what we do:) Jayce is home from school today. Not sure what is up he's been running a low grade fever since yest. morning. He is always so tough and easy to take care of when he is sick. He must be like his dad. I am quite the opposite. And so are my girlies!
Here is a picture of Mya after her bath one day. Maybe her 2nd or 3rd that day. He HE!! She loves to bath. Everytime she goes in the bathroom and sees the tub she says "bath". And starts stripping down.

Pappaw Gizzy called Friday and asked if he could take Mya to McDonalds for lunch. She was soooo excited when I told her Pappaw was coming to take her bye, bye. She kept watching out the window and laughing. Here she is waiting.

Jayce is playing basketball at the YMCA again this year. He really enjoys it. He is on the 8 and 9 year olds group this year. And learning a LOT. It is so much fun watching him play his sports. Poor guy, the other night for some reason we were talking about high school basketball and he said, I'm not playing basketball when I get to high school. I asked why? Do you not like it. Jayce: Yeah, I'm going to play football though. I'm going to play in college too! AWW!! Too bad Barr-Reeve doesn't have a football team, because if you know Jayce he sure does LOVE his football! I'm going to have to check out some other options I guess.

We have LOVED these two snow days. I do not like the FrEeZiNg cold, but I do love SNOW:) Mya was ok for just a little bit, then I think she got cold and tired of it. She may have lasted like 10 minutes. The others would have stayed out all day if I would have let them. We drank hot chocolate when they came in. After we had snowcones made from real snow.

We did not empty all the water from the pool. The kids loved it. They played on the ice for awhile.

FLORIDA

We had a WONDERFUL time in Florida!! It was not quite as warm as last year, but it was nice. We could go out and enjoy the sunshine:) I have LOTS of pics so I will try to only put on a few.

Here is Mya and grammy. We stayed with my grandma while there.

On Christmas day we spent the whole day with my dad's side of the family. Most of them live in Florida, one family from Ohio was there also and also a few from Indiana along with us. It was so good to be all together.

Here is Mya and Recie ( My cousins little boy) they were following each other around. They are only about a month apart. CUTE:)

It is 6:45 and I am ready. FINALLY! Everything is packed and everyone is cleaned up and ready to head to Florida:) John is in bed and hopefully the kids will be ready to head that way soon. We will be leaving at 2:00 in the morning. Traveling, hopefully most of the way and then stopping to sleep. So we will arrive Monday sometime. Please say a little prayer for safe travels:) I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!!

Mya just went to sleep, and I do not have time to be doing this! But I will very quickly:)
Sunday started out wonderful! We all went to church and were coming home very happy and the kids were singing in our van. Until,,,,,, we get to our lane and just a little piece past it up int the middle of the road was an animal! Hit! John was starting to back out and go see. I said that's not ours, he said well let's just go take a look. WELL:( It was our dog Missy! Poor thing! Well kids were doing very well I thought no tears. While I was making lunch I saw hailey go in her room and didn't come out for a bit. When I went to check she was crying!! She didn't want to eat lunch so we let her go. After lunch I decided to let the kids open their Christmas gifts from John and I. We are heading to Florida Sunday anyway. So thought they might as well do it now:) It worked they were happy again.

Sunday night was the Christmas program at our church. They committee did a wonderful job. The kids did wonderful also!

Afterwards on the way home I was telling them how good they did and Jayce said, I didn't. I asked why he didn't think so? He said everyone laughed:( Poor guy, we then tried to explain that they didn't expect to see him ACTUALLY carrying Mary on his back. He still did not get it.

Now only5 more days till my sunny vacation!!!

Christmas Program, Birthday Party, And COUNTDOWN

We have been super busy since my last post. John's brother Phil was married Thursday. We are so happy for him! Hailey LOVES her new aunt:) She now has TWO aunts!! Neither of us have very big families.
Wendsday night the kids had their Christmas program at school. They have been very excited about it for awhile. Hailey counted down the days for about two weeks. She loves to sing! They did wonderful.

We have officially decided we ARE going to Florida over Christmas break!! YEAH! I am so happy. We will stay at my grandma's house. Only 8 more days. My turn to count down days:)

Thanksgiving Weekend

I have a lot I have missed on updating and can't remember it all. So we will just go with Thanksgiving weekend! Thursday we went to mom and dad's for lunch. FINALLY got to see Ryan's again:) That night we went to John's parents for Chili soup. YUM! Friday the kids and I just hung out and made party mix! Friday night Jayce and John went deer hunting while the girls and I stayed home and finished the party mix and watched a Barbie movie! Saturday John and I and all 3 kids went to Evansvile. I had the kids Christmas pic's taken first then mom and dad met us at the mall and took the kids to build a bear while I got my other things done in there. by the way Chels, they said they would like to take B somethime before Christmas also. This was Mya's first time and she LOVED it! I stayed for just a little bit of it then had to go. John stayed and took pic's!

Sickies!

Well as the title says I have been indoors ALL week with a sick one. The school called me Monday and said Hailey was running a fever to come and get her. I picked her up and I thought hmmm she sure doesn't look sick. Don't know what the deal was I couldn't get a temp on her all day and she acted great. I even got up and check on her in the night and still no fever. I went to wake her for school in the morning and guess what a fever. It was really wierd. But she had ran on from Tuesday morn until last night. She is missing school so much, she just cries and wants to go. Poor girl. I have enjoyed having her with me again though.

This morning Mya woke VERY fussy and eventually started running a fever she still is. Tonight Jayce got off the bus coughing and has started with fever now. Hopefully everyone gets better soon. Please keep us in your prayers.

Otherwise my hunny got his buck this morning a 9 pointer! He has been hunting since Thursday last week Morning to dark. UGH! I'm so happy for him:) That's all that's happening here!!

Carving Pumpkins

Sunday afternoon we carved the kids pumpkins. Jayce was so excited to show Mya. Since she was to young to know much about it last year. Hailey had been sick since Friday and she was a lot better, but still weak and not feeling the best. Poor girl. But they wanted to carve!

What a BEAUTIFUL day it is out!! I think it is suppose to warm up a bit, thank goodness. I like my warm weather. It's been quite the chilly start to October. BRR! We have had a nice fall break over the weekend. The kids had off of school Friday. Jayce went home with a friend Thursday night and spent the night. BOO! Mommy missed him a lot. Hailey had a friend over here. They had so much fun. Mya even loved it. She likes to have different kids around here. She is a little clown as of lately. Not sure where she gets it. But if anyone is watching she will give them a show. It is hillarious. So hyper. I would love to have as much energy as her and miss Hailey. My grandma told me the other night that it's like Hailey is always floating. She says it's just like I was when I was young:) ( she is usually hopping or skipping around instead of just walking) Friday night we went to Mi Pueblo for mom's birthday. It was delicious! Ryan's family went too. Love every chance we get to spend with them. Saturday night we went to visit my grandma. We played scummie again. Grammy is going to Florida next monday:( I miss her in the winter months. Sunday morning Jayce woke us at about 5 he had earache! Now let me tell you this guy is tough he never complains much at all when he is sick. he is like his dad. Anyway he had severe pain all morning and I was at my wits end on trying different things. We finally got him to the doctor at about 1:45. They said it was infected and started him on antibiotic. But the poor guy it hurt all day. He has never had ear ache that hurt like this before. We then went to John's parents for supper last night. I'll leave you with pic's of our October so far.

Wonderful Weekend

We have had a wonderful weekend! First we'll start with Thursday though. Miss Mya woke Thursday morning crying and crying, I couldn't figure out what she wanted. Finally I asked my 18 month old where's ouchie? I asked twice and the second time she pointed to her ear! I was like ok there is no way she just showed me. So I asked again and again she pointed to her ear! My other two would NEVER let me know by pulling or pointing at their ears I would always just have to guess. Anyway we went to the doctor and she was honest she had an ear infection. Poor baby!

Friday John was rained out at work so we decided to go to E-ville and do some shopping. He doesn't like shopping but he went with me anyway:) It was great to just spend the day together. We at dinner at Red Lobster that night. YUMMY!!

Saturday morning John and Jayce went hunting of course:) Jayce talks about this all week. Anyway john decided to let Jayce take his bow this time. He begged all week. And guess what. My little 8 year old man got his first deer!!! First time he shot at one,and he got a really good shot! Daddy was soooo excited. He acted like he got a big buck:) He was just excited.

Sunday we went to church and then to mom's for lunch. Grilled chicken and taco salad! MMM! My favorites. Then we came home and EVERYONE took naps! Wow that was different and nice. I was sleepy. We had John's parents for dinner and watched the colts then. What a wonderful weekend:)

Our Week

Well I have been starting to write and then I quit. It just seems so boring. But it is past time that I update. So here it is:) We have not been up to much of anything new ALL week last week Mya was sick, I might add it was not just a cold. UGH!! Luckily none of the other kids got it. YEAH! (SO FAR) So it was stay at home for Mya and mommy.

Saturday John and Jayce went deer hunting, OF COURSE! And John shot a doe. Jayce was very excited. He is going to be a dedicated hunter and fisherman that's for sure:)

Sunday we went to mom's for lunch. The kids were excited they got to ride Mammaw and Pappaw's new golf cart. I have been terrible at taking pictures last week so I don't have any of them on it. Hopefully soon. Monday night Hailey had gymnastics, she can do her front flip on the trampoline by herself. landing on her feet. most of the time now She is very excited about that! Tonight we went to mom's again to get Jayce's hair cut, and we played about 5 rounds of scummy. My kids love to play cards. Now it's off to bed.

I know I have been horrible at updating lately! We have been busy as usual. School takes up a lot of time. get home eat a snack, do homework, play, eat dinner then clean up and to bed. Goes so fast nights.:( But they both love it. Here are a few pictures

Mya and Hailey both LOVE their baths. Especially together. Jayce would rather shower now I guess he thinks that's a lot faster. He's so grown up!!

Mya has to help mommy do the dishes every time now. She pushes the bar stool over and climbs right up! As you can tell she enjoys it!

She is the MESSIEST eater right now, she would rather use her hands instead of the spoon!:)

This is our newest addition. Yes we almost have a farm I think. 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 rabbitts! The puppy is a puggle. Maddy!

This is my three cuties EARLY Saturday morning before going deer hunting. I can't believe my little girl likes to go too!! Jayce cannot sleep nights before I remember from last year. And friday night he was so excited he just could not fall asleep. They did not see anything but the two never complained. They're ready to go again.

Turkey Trot '09

My kids have been waiting for the turkey trot this year. Last year they had a blast and counted down the months. They are already started counting again. My parents have a camper at montgomery park and we get to camp for the weekend which makes it even more enjoyable. I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked but we just relaxed and enjoyed the weekend. I didn't worry about carrying my camera everywhere. Got a few though:)

We are starting to adjust to this new routine now. It was a little difficult at first but now it's same ole same ole! Jayce and Hailey both love school, thank the Lord! And they are both doing wonderful! Jayce brought home a progress report last night, all A's except a B+ and a B the B was in handwriting, he has my handrwriting. not very neat. I told him I am very proud of him and he said but mom I got two B's. I said that is still very good as long as you are working as hard as you are. Oh and he still has 100% on spelling hasn't missed any on his spelling tests!! I had to brag a little:) Hailey seems to be doing well also. She did not have a progress report yet. She is so excited to get on the bus mornings. It makes it much easier when they are eager to go. Little miss Mya seems to enjoy the day with just mommy and her. She is a spoiled little stinker:) Hopefully the year keeps going like it is.

He's able, He's able, I know He's able
I know my Lord is able to carry me through.
I won't write out the whole song, but this has been in my head today. God is so good. I have some anxiety issues, some may know. But anyway I struggle with why I have this problem I pray and I pray for God to help me to let this go. I do trust God, I guess satan tries to get in again and make me worry. Anyway we had a rough long weekend, has to do with the people living in our rental house right next to us. Friday night The kids and I went to stay at mom's and I just was soooo nervous that it was making me sick. Well I prayed all night and finally sometime around 1:30 I just cried and said God I trust you please hold me. He was holding me I could just feel it. I felt such peace!! It was amazing!!! Thank you God for helping us through this weekend. If you all would please pray for the man. Satan does try to pull us down. Hopefully he will stay on the right track. Please pray for his wife that she will be ok and God will help her to make the right choices. Also please pray for us that we could help them out and know what God wants us to do in all this.

CORN!!

Let's see, where to start? I have skipped lot's that we have done lately. Sorry, just not enough time to update. I think i will just have to skip it and do last weeks events. Mya and I started off Monday of last week helping mom and dad freeze some corn. Mya did very well for the couple hours I was there. She watched and played fairly well. I love to get together and can and put things up for the winter. It's a nice time to talk and laugh. On Tuesday I picked the Jayce and Hailey up from school and we all went back to mammaw's to put some corn away for Ryan and Chelsa. My kids LOVE to freeze corn. I guess they are like me:) Anyway we stayed for a while and then we left before the cleanup, Ha! to get Jayce started on his homework and get everyone cleaned up for school the next day. Yes Jayce cutting off corn. I know it looks dangerous, but he did not get hurt and he did very well. If you know Jayce you know that he will not give up, he likes to work and do just as we do.

We did not do anything for our anniversary yet. We thought we would go on Sat. but Hailey ran fever most of the weekend so we will have to see. This weekend we will not be able to go either. We'll get to it eventually I hope. I won't let John forget! LOL!
Anyway Sunday we went to mom's for lunch, it was such a beautiful weekend and week so far this week. I took some pic's of the kids playing in the backyard at mom's.

9 Wonderful Years!

This picture looks really bad on here but I had to put a wedding picture on. I didn't have time to scan it at mom's this week. So I just took a picture with my phone. Oh well!
This is our wedding day 9 years ago today!! Wow I can't belive it's been that long! It turned out perfect. It was an outdoor wedding at my parents house. My dad did a wonderful job with all the landscaping. He worked so hard. My mom did a lot too, I was only 19. I needed lot's of help. But I was in LOVE and determined to get married. I am very happy that we did! He is a wonderful husband and father to our 3 beautiful babies!!
